REF601 is a numerical feeder protection relay, designed for the protection and control of utility and industrial power systems, in primary and secondary distribution network. REF601 is a member of ABB’s Relion® product family and a part of its 605 product series.
The relay uses Rogowski current sensors for measurement. Integrated protections of REF601 along with the benefits of modern current sensors provides the improved availability, compactness and safety of medium voltage switchgear.
